Roof Rack

I've got a 99 lx470 with no roof rack and I would like to know where I could find one? Thanks for any help.

Thanks but I would like to have the factory side rails and cross bars either from an LX or LC.

If your truck has never had an OEM rack, that's the first one I've heard of. If it hasn't, I'm wondering if the trim on the roof is sealed where the mounts go or what? Regardless, you should be able to get a factory rack from someone here for next to nothing, most go in the trash if they replace or remove.

in australia they are frequently sold without roof racks because of height problems for homeowners garages. but definetly agrees you can get one from a scrap yard.

Not a '99 but mine does not have a roof rack but it does have the mounts in the gutter with plastic snap in caps that cover the "REINFORCEMENT PLATE"

Toyota build sheet show the RR as an option that includes running boards.

Racks were a port installed option. All the trucks have a total of 10 mounts, two bolts per, 5 mounts on each side. Some of them are hidden under a full length plastic cover, some are under snap in caps. You'll need the special Toyota bolts if you do pickup a oem rack, so make sure it's included.
