Roof rack fuel can holder

Looked around at some other options for roof rack fuel can mounts and really didn't like some of them; I thought the height was an issue so I came up with this. I bolted a "Conferr" style jerry can holder to the floor of my Garvin Rack. Don't know if its been done this way before but I'm going to try it out soon. I have a second one for the other side. Seems pretty solid.

Me, I just put them up there, and prevent them from shifting with a crossbar and a couple of straps. Seems very secure as well. Not as elegant as your solution, though.
