Roof Rack Delete

Hey guys,

Did a search and didn't see anything about this. I know that on the 80's that you can delete the roof rack. I may have to do this to be able to park in the garage if I go to 33's with my 3" ironman lift. Has anyone done this yet?

You'll need to order the following parts;

Lexus part #:63185-42020 Lexus OEM Roof Rack Bracket Front, Quantity:4
Lexus part #:90080-11724 Lexus OEM W/Washer Bolt, Quantity:8

I just filled my holes with roofing adhesive and glued down the rubber strips. Been good for 5 years no leaks

Taking mine off tomorrow for a few weeks till my ARB comes in. Will just silicone the bolts till I need to remove them.

My SAS'd Tacoma on 37's fits in a standard garage. I think you'll be fine.

I will give it a go BlackCat. Worst case scenario is I take it of and silicone the holes shut.
