Just ordered! Thx for the info

The slider and outriggers look great, but what I've found is they mount to the frame with 1" square stock, WAAYYY inadequate.

If you can replace the mounting arms with the 2" square stock and gussets then yeah, but I think I'd still warn about RR with caution, unless they're more for nerf bar use and not trail use.

Also See my post #17 above 👍
And do some more web searches and look @ reviews. Plenty of forum reviews (taco and 4r forums)...
I was also seriously considering them, the price point and pix are great, their marketing descriptions need some work, but in researching I learned a lot more about slider construction.

But just need moar caution on the RR 'sliders', unless they've changed in the last 3 years....

I have RR's super sliders and they only bolt on the frame, none on the body. Purchased May 2020, I have a 2010 GX460.

Do yours bolt to the frame with 1” or 2” mounting arms?

And can you shoot a pic?

3 arms each to each side, looks to be 1" maybe.

Ah, man I wish my 2010 was that color, but alas there was nothing but black and white 460's when I went shopping and I ended up with black. I'm getting a bit of rubbing with my OEM suspension setup + 265/70/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on some DX4 wheels ... right on the bolt head of the mud guard in the front driver's wheel well which is why I asked. I'm wondering if a 3" lift is all I need to stop that damn rubbing. Ugh, its bloody annoying.

I hope one day to see your color in person on a GX get-together.

Positive castor might help. Not sure if OE suspension can be adjusted for positive castor or if you need an aftermarket UCA. If not, bring out that cutting tool.

Considering coming down with a few others to 2021 Lone Star Toyota Jamboree and also meet up with SoftRoaders. Maybe we'll see ya there.

Oh cool that sounds fun, any more details? I don't do social media so if its a s***book....errrrr facebook sort of thing I'll need another information source. Haha.

Right! I'd forgotten about the sandwich bolting to the pinch seam they advertised, again with the 1" square stock.
That might've been a more model-specific design. Made me think of cherokees and their unibody construction.

Glad yours doesnt have body-mounting too, that'd be undesirable on a body-on-frame vehicle

What's the distance from the slider to the wheel well arch? 🤔

Was looking for the sliders for my LC 200. Narrowed down to white knuckle and budbuilt as my top two choices. Decided to go with budbuilt since no drilling required, they state they use American steel, not imported one, and their sliders look very similar to the ones built in Australia for extreme off-road.
