Could someone post some pics of their sliders and how they stick out from the body and also how high up they fit? I am tryn to narrow down which ones I want. I am thinking I have it narrowed down to the Main Line Overland, CBI, RSG and maybe even the Rocky Road. I think I want angled up version and I am going to trim the factory rocker to make it neat as possible.

I will be watching the reply’s you get . Sliders are next on my list as well. I really like the angled versions best but I have grand children who ride with me and a Gorgeous little wife who uses the running boards to get in. The angled versions all but eliminate using them as a step . I wished someone made a version with bolt on aluminum plates. A solid slider really keeps the mud and sharp rocks off the side of the car. Thanks for bringing up the subject.

The angled sliders look great, but I’m kinda glad I went with the flat SSO sliders. I wear size 13 shoes and it’s nice to have a useable step to get up to the roof. I wish I had smaller feet so I could get angled ones though lol.

Agreed, sliders angled up does add maybe an inch or so to being a higher step for those of us who love our petite wives (mine included). But I consider adding grip tape a must-have on sliders, and that's a huge help with the angled ones. My wife as never complained about getting in, even wearing a short skirt.

I’m really liking the CBI sliders that were on the concept GX460. I like how they go the entire length between the openings. They almost look OEM too.

If you order those from CBI make sure you get the updated version that doesn't protrude into the wheel well like a few here have received.

I called them today already to verify that they have updated their design and they said that indeed they have.

Here’s my RCI angled w/ kickout, no top plate. I still need to trim the plastic piece that goes between the slider and body.

All my doors open fine and after a few months i have no complaints! Ordered mine from RoofTopOverland

Main reason I went with these is because of the ramp design at the front and rear of the square bar, and the outer tubes are DOM.

Mike , Awesome ride. Love the wheels also . What front lift system are you using?

Mine are for "just in case" I knock something, not for pivoting off rocks, and to get ride of the low step. I made mine flat and agree the step is nice. I was going to make them flush and minimal but r2m argument for step and slightly wider than body keeps passing obstacles and car doors from reaching into the bodywork was convincing. I can always adjust a bit. I put grip tape on mine as well and agree its better for kid and family use. Don't need Grandma slipping out.

I prefer angled up. Gives a wee bit more ground clearance on the sides and when you need to stand on them, it also gives a little more lift and reach when tackling anything on the racks.
My opinion only, but I like the look better than straight out.

I have Alphaequipt sliders. They're maybe 1/2 wider than the widest part of the door and the kickout is about 2 inches. They're a better step for my size 13s than the oem running boards. I also had the satisfaction of watching someone fling the door of their Altima open with reckless abandon and smash it into a steel tube instead of my car.

I ordered a set on ebay as they were in stock (2 sets left in stock), but they told me "well, they aren't actually in stock, we have to wait on them to be manufactured" so I had to bail on them. Impossible to find sliders in stock anywhere.

Ha-ha-ha!!! Triple thumbs up! 👍👍👍
EXACTLY why I like having wider sliders!!!!
More purchase for your foot AND idiots who just swing their doors open!
I hope they got a good ding and will think about it again when they park.
