1 week into a 2 week road trip and am airbag finally cracked the sad....
Surprisingly long life for my and my GX uses these Past 6 years of ownership!! 💪🤘

We're headed to Ketchum/Stanley Idaho area for camping and Mt Biking for the next Week. We Have a yurt @ Galinas Lodges for the next 2 nights, then primitive camping along the river for the remainder of this week then.we head back home (Moab) next Saturday...

This would All the way better on 2 functioning airbags... 😫🫤😆

Of course it's Sunday so the parts stores are Closed and unlikely the car quest in Ontario, OR would have a replacement airbag off the shelf.

Any chance anyone in the area has any take-offs from their suspension upgrade?

I'm down with a field Repair in camp, but a real jack and jack stands would be better, in a garage Lol. 😘

Low and slow for now....

Hopefully I have service and can monitor this post. 🤓🤙🏼

Maybe Cruiser Outfitters?

Headed e on 84 to go thru Boise to Ketchum now

Sorry to hear that.
Airbag are very reliable but they are like tire. Would you drive with 10 YO tire? You should not, same as airbag. If you want to keep it you need to replace it as a PM at 10 years. This is depend on climate but a safe rule of thumb. Hot dry climate might need sooner replacement.

Good perspective! ☝️

Part in-hand!

Now hopefully I can pull this off @ camp.
😬🤞

Nice score. I was going to suggest you Jerry rig some spacers for the rear bumpstops!

Looks like the sad spring revived with altitude. 💪

I'll keep this airbag as emergency but hopefully return it when I get home (or another AutoZone en route, no AutoZone in my podunk town 😘🤪)
I'll be more aware when we load Tonto head home this weekend and maybe, hopefully it'll contain air and pressure for the ride back.

Sounds like I 'could' pull off an install in a pinch but may not need to. . . .

I'm also in limited connectivity for the rest of the week, so updates may be intermittent...

Thanks community!!

I'll. Keep y'all updated as. Necessary and able. 🤙🏼🤘

Airbag survived.
I suspect being overloaded (weighed in @6850 en route 🤯) on a tired/slightly compromised bag was the scenario.

Altitude and more compressor actuations filled it and kept it up all week.

Made it home in 9 hours and all's okay.

I'll swap that rear right out with another used stocker I have on hand. (Or maybe this new one... Since I have it and no auto zone nearby to return it to lol)

Thanks for chiming in and following! This is a great community!!
