So, just waiting for my Rival bumper to return from powdercoating, thinking about skid plates. The Rival skid plates are on closeout sale, so, considering those, but wondering about other options. I want to ensure compatibility with the bumper, so I'm wondering if other Rival bumper owners have any experiences with other aftermarket skid plates?

Thanks for your help.

Have a budbuilt front. I had to fab a narrow plate to go between the two.

If you're in the market for aluminum skids, Rival are fine. I have their gas tank skid and it's well done.

Well, I know steel is going to last longer as a skid plate, I'm ok with aluminum but it's not my first choice. How much fabrication are we talking about - just measuring and cutting a piece of steel then drilling mounting holes? Or, did you do some bends etc? I don't have the tools or experience to do much more than measure, cut and drill (and paint).
