I've got one on my BJ60, along with the OEM winch and porch bumper!! Get ahold of GSCruiser parts in Abbotsford, B.C. They have them. You'll need to make sure your transfer case has the drive gear, not all do.

Yup they exist... two of our Cruisers (the PO of Cruiser Outfitters, and good freind Greg) run PTO winches from the H55F :D

The PTO box came in two variations (at least), one only had a front output, and one had a front and rear output, COOL!

There was also an ebay auction a few years back, it was a PTO that bolted over the trans output cover on the back of the T/C Really cool, I think it was used for a water pump, Marv @ SOR may know.

I think that there is also variations on whether the cable can be spooled out under power or not. Mine only powers in (in a forward gear of course). The older one on my kids FJ55 will power in and out in a forward gear.

I like the shifter on the newer one as you cannot knock the PTO into gear by accident.

Not trying to nitpick, but a split-case PTO box would be the term I would have used. Their's actually 3 types of split-case PTO boxes. '80-82 used a push-pull cable that was the forward-neutral-reverse type with the shift mechanism on the back of the box, similar the early 40 series boxes. From '82-84 it was a solid linkage type with the shift mechanism on the front of the box and was the forward-neutral-reverse type. From '84-91 it was the solid linkage type with the mechanism on the front of the box and was the engage-disengage type.

I can post some picks if need be. Have to wait until I get off work though.
