HI Folks, due to some life events going on I am looking to sell my LX. This is a 2001 LX470, with 231K miles. Not sure what the color is called specifically but it is the green and grey two tone, and looks great in person.
This is a solid truck and I am sad to see it go, but hoping it goes to a good home. Truck drives great, AC blows cold, and is overall a really comfortable cruiser. Drove it down to Cape Lookout this past April and it handled the 800 mile roundtrip (and beach driving) like a champ. Have been working on getting it baselined, as there were a few service items that I was not sure whether it had been done, see the good stuff list below.
Good Stuff:
- 2.5" Ironman 4x4 lift with TRD wheels and BFG KO2's. Tires and lift installed at around 225K miles. This was done as the AHC pump failed. Tires are basically brand new and in great shape.
- Installed Ironman 4x4 front recovery points.
- Grey interior in great shape, have both 3rd row seats (though only one is installed right now).
- Water Pump and Timing Belt replaced at 228K miles.
- Front & rear differential fluid replaced at 230,450 miles.
- Transfer case fluid replaced at 230,450 miles.
- Replaced heater tee's with stainless steel tee's at 230,450.
- Battery replaced January 2021.
Bad Stuff:
- Mark Levinson amp is dead, been meaning to bypass with an apple car play radio, but have been busy and have not got around to it.
- Sunroof does not open.
- Rear hatch has some rust within it, previous owner treated the inside. I have been planning on taking it off, opening it up, and doing a more thorough removal but have not had the time yet.
- Few dents and dings around the truck, it has been well taken care of but has been well used.
Do have some room to negotiate, as I am listing the truck here first, knowing you all might want first dibs. I think I got all the photos you would want to see, but lemme know if you want more.
