2006 TLC with ARB 207K 10,999 I drove this today. Subtle lift. Here are my thoughts if anyone is interested. I think this would be a good truck if you are really after a cheap 06+ with front ARB and want something to wrench on. If you are paying someone to bring this truck back to spec walk away! This is a sold ride no doubt but it definitely could use some tlc. Light surface rust on the underbody. Truck was purchased in Texas (hence ugly fender flares) but appears to have spent most of it's life in Williamsburg, VA. Appears to be a one owner truck. Despite the minimal underbody rust the underside of the rear hatch handle upper is crusty, more than surface rust, repair or replace if you can come by one cheap I'd think... maybe you could get by with rust removal and seal with rustbullet or something since it is an unseen area but I'm not sure. Id probably try this first. Obvious dent in the rear quarter with a gash in the side trim, does not appear to have compromised the paint/metal from what I can tell. Loose ugly fender flares which have rubbed through the paint and resulted in light surface rust :(. The interior is VERY VERY dirty and so is the underside so there may be more rust than meets the eye. Something is leaking under there too and it is not coming from the valve cover gaskets (which are bone dry) it is coming from somewhere lower and directly under the engine. The roof rack is missing the brackets on both ends I assume the original owner had a nicer roof rack and threw the factory one back on for sale but had lost the end trim pieces???. The sunroof has been poorly sealed with silicone caulk presumably due to seized internals. Under the hood there is a new fan and upper radiator hose. There are coolant stains on the underside of the radiator. On the drive it seemed like a solid truck. There was quite a bit a wheel/tire/bearing??? noise but probably is just due to the lift and mud tires but I'm not sure. Subtle suspension squeaking present. Scratches present especially on the driver side. Paint would probably clean up nice. I asked the sales guy about any work done before sale and he said he had nothing on record. He said it looks like it needs new cats. I assume it was throwing a code but they have reset the light. Seems strange/suspicious that it has a VERY VERY new fan and upper hose with stains on the radiator. There is also something leaking on the right front shock and right front inner tie rod boot. CV boot on the right side looked like it was in good shape, for sure a factory reboot in the not too distant past. I think there was one in the records but it was over 100K miles ago, the boot at least on the right looked too good to be that old....

Thanks for your feedback. You actually saved me a trip/time dealing with sales rep.

Thanks for the detailed post! You’ve undoubtedly saved mufflers hours and hours spent prying info from this dealer.

That ARB and winch gotta be worth at least 1500 no? Get this cruiser, sell that and get some of the money back. If dealer will go down to 10 even, this is a heck of a deal i think. There are talented individuals on here that can bring the shine back in her.

Dealer is firm and for whoever wants to bring this one back I think it's worth it. It will be a chore.

Looks like the rack is leaking when you said there seems to be something leaking below the valve cover gaskets area.
