OK everyone, I need my work double checked. Thanks to @GA Architect I'm equiped wtih the knowledge to look up parts for my 75' RHD FJ45.

I have 2 part numbers that I found through the Toyota online parts catalog.

99343-11060-77
99343-11070

I believe I can order both of these from my dealer that gives a mud discount but which one is the correct one for my application?

can someone enlighten me as to the correct choice?

Thank you.

Current belt is waaayyyy to long.

either your pulley is worn or that is the wrong size belt, or the belt is worn
see how far down into the pulley the belt sits, it should be about flush with the edge of the pulley, not sunk down in
how does the belt look on the other pullies?

Oh I know the belt is not the right one. It was a left over from somewhere that I used to get the rig up and running. It’s too long and as you point out too skinny. It’s fine for in the driveway making sure everything is operable but I need the correct one so I can start driving her. Tough to decipher which is the appropriate one from the interwebs. At least for me it’s tough.

Around here even the minions at the local parts store can match or look up a fan belt. I like NAPA, then Autozone followed by O'Reilly.
I also like RockAuto too and the many fine vendors here. Most of the time when I look up a belt in the fine print there is usually a length given. Back in the day my dad extended the bracket on the alternator so it would take a much larger belt than normal - very handy in the outback where parts selection is limited.

I carry my old belts/hoses/etc in the under seat tool box as back up. Yes I change them before they fail - much easier to do that sort of stuff at home than when stuck in big hole because something failed.
