Nope, not a bit. It actually feels just like OEM. Must be the way you're percieving the photo. The new leather wrap is thin, it adds next to no "girth"it makes the steering wheel rim look huge. does it add a lot of girth?
It's really not too bad, just takes time.looks so cushy! Man i need to replaced mine but scare to tackle the job :\
the leather basically goes on top of the OEM wheel right? It's really not too bad, just takes time.
Correct, @nuclearlemon stated that it seemed "huge" and seemed to add "girth", but it feels no different (thicker) than OEM or my Tacoma's SW. The leather wrap that Loncky sends is thin enough but high quality that it feels just right. But to each his own, I just wanted to share my findings for those that might be looking for an affordable, high quality solution to a worn steering wheelthe leather basically goes on top of the OEM wheel right?
Thanks for sharing. I'm gonna pull the trigger on it!Correct, @nuclearlemon stated that it seemed "huge" and seemed to add "girth", but it feels no different (thicker) than OEM or my Tacoma's SW. Jesus, guess I got lucky, appears "girthy" and "huge", "cut short" and "return and warranty nightmares", I'm rethinking the post nowI used the same company through Amazon and they cut it to short. Warranty and return is a nightmare.
It was a nice kit, the leather was just cut short.Jesus, guess I got lucky, appears "girthy" and "huge", "cut short" and "return and warranty nightmares", I'm rethinking the post now
You "ran" every stitch. You were supposed to skip every other one giving you a hexagon-ish stitch shape, shown in the photo. But oh well glad mine worked. I'll leave them a positive reviewIt was a nice kit, the leather was just cut short. View attachment 1786266View attachment 1786268
