I've seen a post regarding turning the rear leaves around to gain some clearance from the rear doors. I plan on doing some additional trimming for tire clearance as well, but I was curious if anone has any info, pics or links on this mod. Do I need to extend the driveshaft as well? Thanks!

I have to think that this is a bad idea. It will increase axle wrap among other things. If you have to, move the mount rearward.

The best fix for what ails you would be to drill new pilot holes on the spring pad and the tie plate. Then nothing but the axle will move. I'm still unsure why you think you need this, I've never heard of it before. I run SOA with 35"s and I have plenty of room.

I would choose the way to order new leaves ( both, main and military wrap ) with the center pin hole moved back the amount of inches that you want and then, use your olders to asemble the spring pack again ..
