my big concern is lighting if you happen to come across pics of the headlight harness for a 19 Lc 200 series that would be a big help. i need to see the wire color code on a factory LC harness.

None of the lighting will just plug in. It will all need new connectors and splicing. It isn't difficult, just time consuming.

As far as the TCS, I don't see the connection. The lighting you have now doesn't tie into the TCS, changing to a 2016+ front end doesn't change that.

Ill have to do some research to answer that properly. my left front light is out and the traction control light is on. but i haven't spent much time under the hood. been my wife vehicle up until the accident. so now i get it and she gets a new car.

Hi Guys, does anyone know the part numbers for the 2012-2015 Toyota OEM headlights for a RHD vehicle? I'm having a hard time finding them. I've found the LHD part numbers but I think they are different to RHD?

Cheers, Mike

Part numbers should be the same. Difference will be in aiming.

I’d double check that. The reflectors/lenses on RHD vehicles may not have the correct cutoff for LHD vehicles (and vice versa). I know of this being an issue in some places in Europe (at least in the past).

Not for @ChuckChunder who is in NZ, but for future searchers of this thread in the US you’ll need DOT marked lenses, and I highly doubt there are any RHD DOT lenses for the LC. My state actually checks this in annual safety inspections and I’ve had to remove aftermarket lights that didn’t have the markings (twice - once on a KTM motorcycle and once on a Tundra).

Thanks guys for the responses.

What's even more weird is I managed to get a VIN number of a 2013 RHD landcruiser in NZ but when I looked up the headlamps on Toyota parts catalog - https://toyota-general.epc-data.com/ it shows the same part number as my pre-facelift headlights?

The harnesses work fine, plug and play. I wasn't able to get the leds to work but that could've been my aftermarket headlights.

Thanks for the reply. I’m going to give this a shot at some point as well but will try with oem lights (if I can find at a decent price..) Thanks again!

has anyone tried the diode dynamic s1 led for low beam on their 08?

debating going that route vs OEM 13+

I almost pulled the trigger on those last night. I’ve heard good things but haven’t seen how they perform or what they look like in person. I think they’re on sale right now..

same reason I wanted to pulll the trigger - with them being in sale

My old RX has $30 amazon led - been working great for 3 years

It may just be worth trying the diode dynamics and seeing how the work. Better than spending $1,200 on 13+ oem lights!

Maybe someone else can chime in with their experience running the diode dynamic leds?!

I ran high quality IPF LED in the high beams of my 2013, then took them out and replaced with Philips HIR bulbs. Basically all LED replacement bulbs have the same problem.. since an LED has to be soldered to the surface of a board, you can’t put the element in the *exact* same position as the original filament. And due to the geometry of that filament being reflected off something two inches away then being expected to illuminate the road precisely a few hundred feet out, any extremely small changes in that position mean the beam won’t go where it is supposed to.

This isn’t to say some people don’t like the effect.. but if someone truly cares about the quality of the beam, meaning even light distribution where it’s supposed to go and not where it isn’t (to avoid blinding oncoming traffic) LEDs of any kind won’t produce a high quality beam.

Plus the less warm light often dramatically increases glare in rain/mist/fog/snow.

This is great info, thank you bloc.

I am also planning to replace the headlight assembly on my 2008 to a used OEM unit taken off a 2015. I purchased the AliExpress harness. Does anyone have experience with swapping out the assembly with OEM assemblies and does everything work? I see others on this thread have had luck but the LED’s didn’t work.

Ive done it with two different lighting units from the 13-15 cars. Not sure what the AliExpress harness is but I simply fabricated all the necessary connections with a multimeter and some time. The wiring took a bit of research to get the LEDs to work but it's 100% possible to get done. Mine functions and looks stock.
