I thought this was possible but when I log in and enter a VIN of a vehicle I don't currently own, it is not giving me the vehicle's maintenance history. Isn't this possible?

I'm looking at a new to me 200 that is at a none Toyota dealership and was a trade. The seller has provided the detailed ($45) Carfax and it has a decent history but has a large ( 3 years and 60K lime) gap in the records. I know there are a lot of VIN search databases out there but I've only ever used Carfax. Anyone got other suggestions?

It should give you what was done at Toyota dealers, but nowhere else.

I went back in and it does provide the dealership maintenance. I must have done something wrong the first time. Its better than Carfax. Better descriptions and its more complete. Carfax showed a front end collision accident/repair but the Toyota Owner site said:

there were also multiple alignments done after the repair. the rig has 140K miles now and looks to have been well maintained.
