I know. Far cry from the 12HT 60. But it hauls dirt and lumber. I can average 22 mpg around
home, running back and forth to Victoria or up island. It’s a 6.5’ box, any shorter and it’s not
a truck. Goes very fast occasionally, ;) I think fairly rare. Looking at turbo for it which puts
500 Hp to the wheels, which is quite frightening. Not sure I’m going that far with it. I just want it
to run as best as I can so it lasts a long time.

I own it's little brother 2007, 5spd, 2.7l. Manual doors and windows, no key fob, old school.... ;) (it doesn't even have intermittent wipers, good 'ol Toyota)

^^^yup, no intermittent wipers, manual windows and no keyless entry. If it had a stick it would be un-stealable! LOL>
But I have it on good authority, if I remove the steering column stalk which has the intermittent feature apparently the wiring is
in place, basically install - plug and play. The signal has nothing to do with anything but the stalk control. Manual conversion
is a unicorn idea as they seem to have decided 'Merica don't need none of dem dare manual transmissions.
Maybe you could look into that?? Is that a 4WD or 2? Nice thing about them, can't tell by looking. I just sold a 2007 Tundra, it
was a very sweet truck, but 2wd and defeated the purpose to a degree of getting one. I missed out on a road trip into the
interior as I was just not comfortable rocking the passes without it in snow season.

2WD, 5spd manual. Yeah, that back end is lively in the rain and snow! :) Best to put weight in the back like sandbags and such, but still not as good as 4WD of course. Oh and studded tires (which I don't have), are also a must have. Mine is a US truck.

Not that we buy tire chains very often, but I picked up a set for my Tacoma yesterday from Ian, the Chain Guy, here in Abbotsford. Like all great buying experiences, it's a retired fellow who owned a few tire shops, was the chain coordinator at Kal Tire for several years and as you might appreciate, knows a thing or two about chains.

Chains can be quite helpful in mud and nasty road conditions; not just for snow and ice.

Super friendly to deal with, does a test fit in his garage before you leave; has several options to pick from and yes, it's all in stock.

Been looking for someone just like this. Thanks, going to get for Tundra and 60. Same size tires so simple.
Also @AJAEbj42 Swapping in the intermittent wiper feature is a stupid simple procedure and inexpensive. Go find a
used wiper stalk with intermittent. Remove the plastic shroud from the steering column housing.
There is a plastic retainer clip holding the arm on, push it to release with flat bladed screwdriver. Unplug wire plugs.
Reverse procedure. About 5-15 min total time. I will be swapping Tundra as soon as I can find a wreck with the
intermittent wiper arm.

So funny, I could probably pull the arm from my BJ60 which in 1982 had intermittent wipers LOL :)

That might work but you'd need newer generation switch plugs. We did a quick search, there are literally over a dozen
Toyotas using the same wiper switch bar. Anything post 2007 would be a safe starting point

I see a guy, Will Smit selling all kinds of LC parts on FB. Has a good rating. Is he on here and if not
does anyone know him?

Nope, beware of scammers including those with good ratings.

Yup, just cancelled another CC for that exact reason. #8 in 3 yrs. Some kinda record. Somehow my domain name has been sold off.

After a search.
Big Country OffRoad in Abbotsford.
I found Nitro axles for my 60. Rears for reasonable price. Talked to owner on phone. I’ll be picking my new rear axles up on Friday before Cruiser Days. He is also getting me some axle seals. I mentioned he should set up a tent Saturday and hang a sign. Be nice for people to know there is a good shop close to home and certainly has everything we need. Proper dealer for many of the brands we are looking for.
