7) So this is the rebuild kit and what you are rebuilding is these rings and pieces in order.

7) Remove shock bolt and keep washers in order

8) replace rings. White vinyl washer goes inside cavity of black section of screw. This is probably the trickiest part of the whole process.

8) Put everything back in reverse order. Fill in new oil to top and nitrogen refill at 220 lbs and done

Don't many people use 12 gram cartridges for the nitrogen refill?
 
Nice work, thanks for the DIY. It looks like the rebuild is faster than the remove and replace. Now that I see what it takes I'll do them myself next time as well.

I shipped them out to Joey at SDHQ and they turned them around in 24hrs but of course a couple of days in route each way added up to some downtime. For others that don't want to tackle the job themselves the cost to rebuild two was $302 and I got good service. I don't know if it matters for cost but mine had the remote reservoir.
