While it's still fresh on my mind, thought I'd do a quick update/review on the seat covers I picked up for my LX450 from leatherseats.com last year.

Overall: decent quality for the price. The stitching, leather and general quality, while good, is not as good as OEM...but still a big improvement over the 18 year-old seat covers. Pattern was spot on.

Some pictures over here: https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/botched-upholstery-work-in-bay-area.861045/

Go by the first picture. Unfortunately, I farmed the job out after starting and saying "F this" and the shop I took it to did not do a good job...which is another story.

what i'm starting to wonder with all these different leather vendors is.... does somebody make a kit to replace the leather with cloth?

i would love like a high quality microfiber canvas...

Me too! I've been looking for something other than leather which I find cold and slippery.

My leather seats are shot and I currently can't afford new covers, so I recently purchased Spectra Offroad slip covers. They are tough and fit well, and cost about 1/3 the cost of leather covers. At some point I'll probably have them recovered, and would like something other than leather, but until then the slip covers will work great.
