I ordered a new driver side window regulator and got it in today (thanks CruiserDan)

How hard is it to take out the old and put in the new?

Any tips or obsticles I should watch out for?

All help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks James

Don't break the little plastic clips on the door panel. Other than that, it's pretty straight forward. Of course, my experience is w/ FJ60 non-power windows. If it's a 62, I have absolutely no idea:doh:

Good luck.

Piece of cake. You shouldn't even have to remove the window. Once you have the door trim off (Try not to break the clips!!) you should be able to get the window in a position to unbolt the regulator off the channel on the bottom of the glass. Once that is done it's a good idea to push the window all the way up in the door and put a piece of tape over the top of the door to either side of the window to hold it up there. Rest is easy. Good luck
