Can someone help me? I'm trying to get all my lights working on my 78 FJ40. Thread searching gets me close but I'm still stuck on replacing the headlight switch light.
I've pulled and twisted without success with my fingers and pliers but it's not moving. I'm about ready to pull the whole switch. I know this will be simple once I've worked this out.
1) Is the switch light bulb located at the end of my curved needle nose pliers?
2) Should I twist clockwise or counterclockwise and just use more force?

If you cannot get it loose with your fingers with the switch installed in the dash, then remove the switch and work on it where you can get at things.

Thanks guys,
Learning form others experiences is what's great about this site. Will work on getting the whole switch out without breaking anything! I'll also post the results.

Super easy to remove switch and change bulb. Thanks Poser
