Hello. My 100 series has the same hub assembly as the 80-series I believe. We took it apart yesterday but couldn't get past the cone washer Pop out. We gave up and put the wheel back on. I backed out the car and turned it around and pulled in the garage and realized I forgot to put the snap ring in. I went to check to put it in and the groove is gone. It's pulled inside the hub assembly. Is there anyway to pull it back out? Without disassembling the hub assembly past the cone washers?

Thank you!

Thread a 8mm x1.25 bolt into the end of the axle shaft (as a handle for something to grip) and pull the axle out until you see the groove for the snap ring.

Thanks Mingles will try that. I'm up here in Maine at the moment and all the hardware stores are closed. Do you know where any 8mm x1.25 bolts might located on the land cruiser?

Thanks
