Hello everyone. I'm looking to replace the drum brake cylinders all the way around on the 75' NZ FJ45. I've tried all the usual suspects, SOR, cruisercorps, beno, etc., etc. nobody is 100% sure that what they have will work. I always see this company .....4X4 world.com.au.......when I'm surfing fleebay. They appear to have a full kit, fronts and rears for 71'-80' drum brakes which is what I have. Anyone ever order from them? Seems like a pretty good option but wanted to see if any of us on this side of the pond have ordered from them. Thanks everyone!

Thanks PG45er maybe I'll shoot them an email through fleabay and see if they are 100% sure they'll work. Shipping is pretty steep...

I'm pretty sure the wheel cylinders in a 45 a bigger than a 40.
When I did mine many years ago I think I just rebuilt them with a rebuild kit.
I can't remember where I got the kit, but it was in NA.

Thanks guys really appreciate the responses. I'm probably gonna be money ahead if I just pull off what I got and see if they are rebuildable.

Still wonder if anyone in the states has ordered from the 4X4 world business that's all over fleabay. Just trying to gauge if folks have been happy with them.

I've ordered cooling system parts for my 40 and a switch for my HJ. No problems.

I have an old PN of
47580-29075
Google that and see what shows

Well I pulled the trigger on the fronts and rears from 4X4 world, I'll let everyone know how it goes when they show up!

I have bought parts from them for my 82 45 and the parts have always fit and been good quality, the shipping was the killer but what can a guy do when you need the parts. Post the pictures of the parts.

Update: I messaged 4X4 world via eBay asking about fitment but then went ahead and ordered prior to getting a response. Not the smartest decision but oh well. Received this response today.

"kit should be correct for your vehicle.

However - it would be helpful if you knew the inner diameters of your front and rear so we could accurately confirm.
This kit has
Front 31.75mm
Rear 28.57mm"

Time to pull mine off and make sure I'll be good to go. Here is the picture that was up on eBay of the cylinders.

The eagle has landed! Set of front and rear brake wheel cylinders showed up from Oz today. I'll see next week if they actually are the correct part when I start swapping everything. Wish I could do it sooner but work is gonna get in the way

its been way to long but when I did the rear drums on my 45 with a 78 FF axle.....I either got the cylinders from Toyota or SOR
