I thought maybe he was referring to landcruiser heaven. I'm in the same situation looking for 3/4 tub too.... LCH looks good. I think user FloridaFJ80 owns them or something.

I have read a few threads on fitment issues with LCH tubs. Also talked to a local shop that bought two tubs from them and the shop owner told me they were not usable. He also said LCH would not offer a refund. I am sure it is hard being a vendor ordering parts from S. America. Not sure if the fitment issues have been corrected, but buyer beware.

Yes, and Landcruiser Heaven. I think the owner of LC Heaven is a member here, but there have been numerous accounts of problems with deliveries being damaged, tubs not fitting, long waits for remedy, etc. I like the fact that the owner is trying to bring another source of parts to North America, but I'm not willing to take the chance until he gets parts and delivery issues sorted out.

EBI in Canada has reasonable prices on FJ40 body panels, and I believe they source tubs too. They told me they were working on getting a few pallets of materials ordered. It didn't work with my time frame, but otherwise their prices were tempting enough that I probably would have gone with them.

I looked at EBI and heard good things about the owner. However, their cost approached $3500 after factoring in the additional parts that I would need. For an extra $1000, I could get aluminum, forget about rust forming on my tub, and save some labour. The gen 1 Aqualu tub I installed years ago has been almost perfect. I had one small crack in a body mount form after some heavy-duty off road work, and fixed it in just a few minutes.

Also, when I was trying to figure out whether to go with steel or aluminum, I emailed EBI numerous times, called once and did not receive a response. Aqualu responded immediately.[/QUOTE]

You have to call EBI. They can get tubs too. Aqualu is a good option, I just wish they had more of a factory look on the inside of the tub. Aqualu is a far better deal than the heritage 3/4 tub at $10k. For me, Real Steel was priced good enough that I could keep and repair my factory tub, which was my preference.
