Replace brake booster

Is it possible to replace the brake booster on the 80 series without disconnecting the brake lines? Any tricks or tips on this job? Thanks.

I know I did it.

Would depend on the failure though.

I replaced my master and discovered my booster was also bad...damn!

So, left master in place, unbolted from booster, and eased everything out and back in.

Worked like a charm.

Any body has done this on a 93-97 model? It looks like the intake is the problem, not the master. The intake is in the way, there is not enough clearance to slide the booster out.
