Replace all locks and ECU (1 Viewer)

I only got 1 key with my cruiser, and it wasn't the master so I'm unable to program any more.

I've considered purchasing all the locks, ignition barrel and ECU from a wrecked 100 and replacing the whole lot.

Do you think this will work? Would there be a bunch of issues with a difference ECU?
Mine is the upgraded 4 (with OD) speed 2003 Sahara, would any year VX be the same or would it need to be the new gearbox?

Some immobilizers are different for different countries. Here in the US on the 2002+ the ecu can be reset with Techstream. If you wanted to replace parts you would probably just need the separate immobox and a master key to go with it.
