It was great. About 10 showed up in total to meet and converse with Colin and his wife Ann Marie. James and I met Colin on the San Rafael Swell trip last spring. They live in Calgary and are on their way to CA to have a buddy help install an aux tank in his FJC. Then on south to see friends in LV area.

It was nice to see him again and also meet Ann Marie.

dammit..... thats what I get for not checking the website lately. I actually could have made this one...

Thanks Jack. Ive been good, just really busy. Work, school, met a new :princess:, and trying to work on the truck when I can. Its hard cause the 80 is at my parents since i cant get it up my sloped driveway and into the garage.

Hows the new project truck coming along? any updates? Hope you and Darcie are doing well!

You could have stopped at "met a new :princess:" and we would have understood.:lol:

Project truck isn't much of one, I paid more than I was planning, so my mod money went to the purchase. I have just been baselining it and driving it (which I like a lot). Minor tinkering stuff.

Hope to pick up a radio soon, been looking for a used Yaesu FT-8800, missed one on Ebay. Then it's winch, front bumper and sliders. That is pretty much going to be my goal for this year.

hahahaha :hillbilly: She's a cowgirl who shoots archery, loves to fourwheel, helps me work on the cruiser, AND she wants to learn to weld!

Glad to hear youre enjoying the truck. If you need any help or want to bend some tube for it, let me know!

Sounds like she might be a good fit for you.

Thanks for the offer, I was going to hit you up when it came time for tube bending.

I knew I had the right one when we went to the dragstrip and she first smelled race gas. She was talking to me about something and right then a blown big block went rumping by running nice and fat on some race gas. She stopped mid sentence, turned her head and said "What's that smell? I love it!" I knew right then and there she was a keeper.
