My emblem was sandblasted last winter. Anything facing forward had to get a fresh coat. It was the one winter here where it snowed so bad ( we don't have enough salt trucks. Like 3 for all of Atlanta) they ended up throwing crushed gravel and sand everywhere.

By "snow so bad", he means we got 6 inches. It caused chaos. Schools were closed for like 3 months, the sun stopped rising, people were driving around firing machine guns into store windows, National Guard tanks were patrolling the block around the Capitol building...I never want to re-live that experience.

Sounds like the 2012 zombie apocalypse started early for you guys in ATL.:lol::lol:

To a man I've never met, probably will never meet, and has put a big chrome V8 emblem on his dash:

Since everyone else is doing it, I got motivated to finish covering up the chrome. I hadnt gotten around to doing the part around the license plate but I've been feeling pretty motivated lately so I got around to doing it tonight. Looks much better.

The L is painted gloss black to match the wheels and the rest of the trim, but I didnt want to deal with all the prep work of actually painting the rear chrome with the chance it wont last. Plasti-dip is easy, and easily redone if it begins to fail.

Did you use the plasticdip on your wheels too?

Looks good. Hit the trim on the tail lights to tie it all together.
