I want to remove a leaf from the front two spring packs to soften the ride. Which one should I remove?

1. First Longest (nope thats attached to the LC)
2. Second longest
3. Third longest
4. Forth longest?
5. Etc.

I have a year old BDS 2.5" lift. I weigh 250lbs and I can get on the front bumper and it doesn't even phase it. Way to stiff for me.

Before tearing into the spring pack, how does the shackle angle look? I'll bet it's near vertical, eh? If so, then that's the biggest reason the springs are so stiff.

Well, struck out there, I see.
I'd disconnect the shocks at one end, then repeat my bounce test, IMHO.
If it's still stoopid stiff, then my vote is for removing #3 or 4.

The shortest in length leaf will be the stiffest so I'd take one of those out. Do you have a pic of your shackle angle?

After a year, this is likely moot, but how tight are your mounting bolts? Squeeze those bushings enough, and it'll stiffen surprisingly. Again, I'll concede that over a year, it should have loosened or at least crushed the hell outta the bushings.

shortest..

A very general rule is that the small leaves are for stiffness and the longer springs are for height. - Pull one of the two smallest leaves first.
