Well in preperation for my trip this weekend I went to remove my mud flaps and found something very interesting.

The fronts removed without any issues.

The rears though are another story.

When you try to remove the rears you find that you are left with a very large hole between the underbelly and the side panel. About 5 inches by 3 inches.

Way to big to leave empty. An animal Could nest in there :)

So I will leave them on for now.

If I really want to clear that area, I can use a dremel or hacksaw and cut them off where they come below the panel.

Here is your pic.....ooooooooooooooooooooooo big difference :

ya, the wings of the bumper are held on by the mudflaps, and then there are 4 bolts that run along the bottom in the back.

no to loud. you need to take them off, then just cut the part you need to stablize the bumper and reattach the needed part. its what i did and it works fine and i have no flaps.

I know this, but that requires modification. Just removing them and the bumper comes off, LOL.
