Trying to reseat OBD2 port and need to remove lower dash panel. I’ve read it’s just tabs but I don’t see tabs. Any insight, photos….appreciated.

I just put a cover over my truck outside with the forecasted snow, so can't visually confirm. I'm also thinking the RH side is the one with the 2 tabs and not the driver side.

You probably gonna need to remove or loosen the driver for scuff plate prior or pul the top potion back.

You may need to remove the LH cowl side trim board below. This will require popping 2-3 plastic (blue) clips with a trim removal tool or gently pulling back.

Lastly, you want to remove the panel under cover sub-assembly. It has 2 screws you need to remove, I think they are 10mm. You can then lower it to access the OBD plug. There are probably 2 wires connected to it this panel - one for LED light and the other is TMPS related.

Hope that helps.

From memory: There are tabs on the driver’s side but you must remove a couple of screws first.
