Removal of Height Control Accumulator? (1 Viewer)

I hit the same point when I was trying to remove mine and never figured out the secret. I ended up taking inspiration from the rear shock removal threads and drilled some access holes to come in from the top. Here’s a pic of the hole locations if you want to go that route.

Ah, Haaaaaaaaaaaa!! Very clever grasshopper !!:) I just might do that! but will use another Toyota part # to seal it up. I am not leaving even a 1/2" hole exposed and unsealed in the floor. I'm about to tackle the rear shocks this weekend to replace the bushings and already decided to use the hole saw to access them. I ordered 2 of the 65mm hole covers( Toyota # 9095001924) for $3.66 and am going to pick them up shortly at Lexus. This simple solution should have me 20 hrs++ of hard, greasy, dirty labor UNDER the damn truck! :) That'sa a fabulous Friday trade I;ll take any day of the week !
