Hello,

My drivers door handle was replaced by the PO and they apparently did not swap over the original lock cylinder. Is it possible to have the cylinder re-pinned to work with my original key?

A trained/experienced real locksmith that works on car door locks should be able to do it.

IME some of the national chains hire guys to drive around in a van who only know how to break into locked vehicles or a house doorlock, so you'll want to call a few shops to find a real locksmith and ask them if they can do it. A smaller independant shop is probably your best bet.

Or, do it yourself:

@Delta VS specializes in the 80 SERIES locks

i ONLY code cust SST machine 80 series ket as of now

i CAN tackle it if he can't for some reason ?

he is a SOLID SUPPORTING VENDOR as well

Thanks, @ToyotaMatt, I'm just looking for the easiest way to get my driver door lock working. @Delta VS, what is your recommendation for this situation? The key will go into the driver side tumbler, so I'm assuming it's a proper LX cylinder or else the "laser key" wouldn't even go in, right?

Just had eye surgery, please excuse typos. You have LX I take it? Your local locksmith should be able to deal with that for you, otherwise if you send me your key and the cylinder I can do it for you.
