Looks like I may be the only one not wheeling friday? Kids got school and I couldn't escape from work, But I'll be up friday evening to wheel saturday and Sunday.

i'm coming up Saturday morning early, so I'll miss friday as well, so don't feel too bad.

Vince, thanks for the answers. Jon mentioned "look for the 4'x6' brown TLCA banner" i'm trying to get there before 8:30am, when people leave for the trail, if not, jon said he'd try to come back down and fetch us, i need to register and drop off the trailer at least.

Sorry I couldn't make it out this year. As you know I had a great time last year [even with the lump on the noggen I got from riding with Cam!;p] and would have loved to come back again this year, but my plate was just too full:

I sent Cam some stuff for the raffle. ;)

Take some pics of Bart wheeling his junk, and don't burn any guitars on my account!;p

See you again soon.

So where is the trip report and pictures?

geez! :)

it was my first time to Rausch, and a lot of fun. on Saturday, about 1/2 dozen of us were in one caravan on the trails:

1x fj40
1x fj cuiser
4x 60's
2x 80's

steve definitely did the hardest obstacle of the day. there were plenty of guys with cameras, including Woody of ih8mud fame, so there will be pics.... you'll just have to wait a little bit for them :flipoff2:

these are jorge's pix, he shared his SD card with us, but credit goes to him.

fun

Hey Chris, it was a great weekend but we missed you, Burl and Tom. Hope you all can make the next one.

:p
I sent Cam some stuff for the raffle. ;)

Yes Mark, about that....as usual, you sent things that I "need", yet Cam once again failed to call my number.

It was perfect weekend for wheeling! Sorry you couldn't make it. Bart got the honor of having Woody ride shotgun on Saturday 'cuz Woody trashed his 40 on Friday. Bob brought his 40 on this trip, but it got tired and leaned on a tree to rest. It turns out that Bob and his vice for hoarding FJ40 parts was vindicated by the fact that he had a spare door and top at home.

I didn't bring the 40 'cuz you didn't show up to help me get it finished:D. Turns out I didn't wheel the 4Runner either because my CV boots are torn on both sides and there was a lot of standing water on the trails (as reported by the Friday crew). I decided that one or two failed CV axles on the side of the highway was too big a price to pay for a few hours of wheeling fun so I rode shotgun with Steve and did the navigator and spotter duties for the crew on Saturday. As Woody says, any day on the trail is a good day!

Glad to see the new deck is nearly completed.
