RavenTai said:Buy a turbo? Is not the supercharger I have seen pics of, must be a turbo at the end of those hoses? Note the PCV #2 hose is rerouted upstream of it, assuming to prevent the turbo from pressurizing the engine, the plugs are there to fill holes left over from boring the cam journals during manufacture of the head
Those plugs do not have to be removed to replace the head gasket or to adjust valves, I have seen several vehicles that have had oil seeps there, perhaps someone resealed them just for that? But as landtank said that is a guess
turbocruiser said:Yes, that is the Safari Turbo System with a slightly different intake tube than the one I have. Also that distributor looks different. Hmm? Actually that intake tube would seem to stay hotter as its above the exhaust manifold and turbo casting. I'm curious what engine we see here? An AUS or other international version maybe? Anyway most of the plugs I've seen recently, including mine, have a slight vapor trail of oil; just a slight sweating of oil that attracts dust.
