I went with Grade 12.9 M14x1.5x70mm. I think the OEM bolts are not strong enough for recovery. Maybe to tow with or tied the vehicle down. And yes, I would get shackles with itThanks @saucebox - do these use the existing bolts? Do you need shackles?
I’m just trying to understand what’s involved.

If you have an ARB, I think you'll need the spacers and longer bolts. I bought it at a local hardware store, King Bolts. Tow Point Spacers 60 80 100 SeriesCool. Thanks. Where did you get the bolts from? Would mine need to be longer since I have an arb front bumper?
Would his recovery points work with a dissent bumper as well?

I’m saving money to powdercoat my flux capacitor. You goofed by not getting the red powdercoated ones. Everyone knows red is the fastest color.
I’ll be calling Jason this week, thanks guys!
So where did you get your recovery point bolts. I believe stock are 60mm long... I need anothe 1/2 in the way my tjm bumper is on, so I was looking for 70mm also. No one in town seems to have the 14 1.5. Only the 2.0 thread. And were they 14$ each? !thanks just curiousI went with Grade 12.9 M14x1.5x70mm.
