Hi everyone, I have all my parts. (Diff drop, OME springs and. 4 Ironman foamshocks ) to do a mild lift on my 100.
Any shops recommended? What should I expect to pay with the alignment? I am not changing torsions just cranking bc I want a plush ride.
Thanks in advance

Mike Frisbee at Frisbee Auto has a lot of experience with late model land cruiser work including lifts. No idea what that should run, that lift is a lot different than my 80 series. http://frisbeeauto.com

Thanks! I'll give them a call, catch is that this place is very far from me. I suppose I could "hang" and wait bc I know my rife will not drive 2hrs each way times 3 to do this lol

Take it out of low range. :D Waxahachie is less than an hour from Plano. You might also call Baertrax and see what they say.

lol still too far for what seems to be a simple instal. About Baertrax... I saw the BBB rating and I think I'll pass.
But thanks!

"Simple install" is debatable. Anyone with tools can install a lift, but a lift needs to be done right by someone with experience or you'll probably regret it.

Baertrax is a good shop. Had a custom roll cage installed in my 40 by them. They just take a while to get a spot in the shop. Josh is a good guy to deal with.

Thanks everyone, I decided to go with Baertax. Im on the schedule for this Monday. Cant wait!
Josh was nice and answered all my questions and concerns. So good so far. Ill do a final post with results.
Cheers

I'll second Baertrax for good knowledge and service. I don't know about their speed of service. What kind of person leaves a complaint with the BBB for an Off Road Shop? Why not just call and complain to your Mom?

Josh did my rear links on the project 40....everything looks top notch.

The guy was driving a Firebird (according to Josh), imagine taking a muscle car to a 4X4 shop. :bang:

Thats great to hear, so far I had several recommendations. Granted my lift is not going to be composed of "top shelf" parts and my 100 is not worth tons of $$$ but I didnt want to end up with a uneven and impossible truck to drive.
What sold me on Baertrax is that he offered for me to come a few days to a week later so that he could check the instal once it settled. Other places didnt even mentioned it. May not be needed but sure is nice to know it will be checked over. I ride motorcycles and the 600 mile checkup is a must to see if every screw is still torqued etc. on a new bike that has just been assembled.
Anyway waiting on Monday.....

Let's see some before and after pics.

OK so not the best pic for show but here goes. Im super excited how it turned out. Josh at Baertax is Da'Man. Everything looks and feels great. Extreme fast turn over including the alignment (I have the spec sheet if anyone need to see numbers on a 100 that rides PERFECT). Im also very happy that the car still "fits"in the garage. We know how bad the sun is in TX and how hot cars can get. It also gives me hope that she will fit in the garage at my work (fingers crossed).
So here she is, next step is Baertrax sliders and PlastiDip!

Notice: no more squatty look !

Thanks everyone

That's a great looking 100! I may have to get me one of those!

Thanks! I feel like a kid @ Xmas. Even though its just a basic lift I am very happy with the result.

Looks good. Did Baertrax check droop in the front? It looks a little tall up front.

I think thats the angle of the pic. Nevertheless I lost that angled look. I did ask the guys to write up the pre and post numbers but bc they are moving shops the guy that worked on it wasnt available. It rides great so Ill leave it like that till they are established in the new location and Ill ask the to take measurements 9no possible damage I assume). I doubt they indexed the bars wrong bc the guy is a Yoda guy (but you never know lol).
Off topic, I see you are in Austin. My wife and I take weekends at Barton Creek now and then. I dont golf but would enjoy driving down on the LC and going offroad/trails. Other than the park at Marble Falls are any?
Thanks
