Recommend a shop for FJ80 pre-purchase inspection in N County? (1 Viewer)

Hi folks - any recs for a place to do a PPI on a '97 FJ80 in N County? Oceanside or Vista ideally. Thanks!

I know of 2 good independent shops in North County. Both in Vista. But I would highly recommend going to SD Trux in SD if you’ve got a cruiser to be looked at. The owner is a cruiserhead and they know and work on Cruisers a ton.

If you must stay up north Tom at Autotyme Automotive (Toyota Shop) is good as is Robs Auto Repair in the same business park.

Both honest.

They are! I'm in south OC and drive the 60 miles each way to SDTrux for work on my '94.
