Reclining seat mod

yah. i should have been more specific.
like the earlier poster here i can’t see any indicator in the pics so i d/l them to my desktop, enlarged them and posted detail shots looking for help trying to verify where the studs are.
i am also trying to verify if the third row and the back seat use different mechanisms (or not).

I am sorry if you can't see the red Xs. I am able to see the red Xs in the picture.

My recollecting is weak, but I see the red Xs on the first pic. They are the pins that stop the seats from reclining, just remove them.

do you happen to recall if it is one stud or two studs per seat? like 4 or 8?
and i didn’t quite catch how the gear modification relates to removing the stud. if you remove the stud you can put it all the way back with one lever? but if you create new gears you can incrementally move it further back with another lever?
also if you still have you 80 i guess you would do it again? or do you use this mod any more?

I had to read through some of my old posts. The 3rd-row mechanism has multiple additional recline positions, the 2nd-row gains only one more recline position when the pin is removed. MAF used to offer JDM hinges for 2nd-row with multiple recline positions.

Sadly I don't own an 80 anymore, my 100 seats all recline nicely though. Shopping for a LC 200, 2016 or newer, the don't seem to be coming down in price yet.

anyone on here have a link to the description for the second row modification?

i took the stops off my third row seats and - well is this the same thing i need to do to the second row?

i thought there was a thread explaining where the additional slots go if you want it adjustable.

alternatively anyone know where i can pick up second row JDM hinges?
