Rear Window HJ-61

I am in need of a part# for a rear window for an 1989 HJ-61 so I can get my local dealership in Prince Albert SK. Canada to order one in. Wouldn't a rear window from any 60 series do the job? bj, fj, hj
Any help would be apprieciated

Shouldn't your dealer be able to provide you a number?

Unfortunately, glass is not glass, apparently. There were different thichnesses depending upon model year and what appears to be differences in tempering, probably depending upon the regional requirements.

The attached is for the "general" (i.e. not USA, not Europe, not Japan) HJ6#. This is for the back window on the lift gate (not ambulance doors). Good luck.

If you get the glass & gasket from the same vehicle it will fit. I doubt seriously that Toyota modified the body (liftgate frame) for regional differences. And who would check your vehicle even if Canada had mandated something different than the US?

I installed glass from a 82 BJ60 into my 89 JDM HJ60 it was nice and tight. though I did feel it was a little thinner??
