Hey guys , just wondering anyone add a extra power to the rear . My last buggy I had one front and rear winch set up , that was a JK Tube frame rail Genright buggy .
I am considering adding the cables when I do the dual battery at least I will have the connector . I have couple extra winches around the shop I can add a hitch plate so its removable .
I ‘m out in the eastcoast , and have a couple buddies we hit the NJ pines and have already gotten into places where a rear winch would have made recovery a bit easier .
Just considering adding the heavy cables to the rear .
Anyone know the alternator amperage the 2016+ puts out ?

Don't know how viable this strategy could be with the cruiser but putting it out there.

I’ve got huge + and - 1g wires running all the way to the back...all within the vehicle...but not for a winch. Ran the negative because of ground connectors that were just iffy and too small for heavy power without voltage drop.

Can’t help with the other stuff but 2016 US market URJ200 alternator is 180A

A more power puller is portable and can be used as a rear winch.

This is really not a good idea, usually ends in damage to the truck..

I'm not an expert but this looks like a terrible angle.
