I'm taking the M416 to Death Valley in March with the Tepui (RTT) on top for my 12 year old son and his friend to stay in. I want to put jacks on the back so I don't have to keep the trailer connected to my rig.

Seems to be two options

Any thoughts on which is the best way to go?

I have the second one. Bal Jacks. I just installed these on my new trailer build Bal. Just added in the pictures of the rear tonight. My M100 is tucked away. I have them on the rear of that. Holds the trailer well with the RTT deployed. Not easy to get a pic of those.
Here's the link to my build, post 12.

Forgot to add. On my M-100, i made 6 inch extensions that can attach to the bottom of tha Bal Jack leg. The lift on the ones I linked is 24 inch. Measure your frame to ground. The only downside is, even though I have them tucked up, their still the lowest point on my rear. I havent hit them in the rocks though.

Thanks for the info. Very helpful. 24" will work for me perfectly.
