Rear door ashtrays

Has anyone done or thought of making the rear door ashtrays into something more functional like 12v outlets?

Not that I have seen. There is a guy on GXOR that has retrofitted the sunglass, rear entertainment panel, and the AHC panel to switches and USB. I am sure this is next on his list.

yes I’ve seen his work! The sunglasses I’ve seen not the RSES or AHC (what is AHC)?
