Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier and Blind Spot Monitor Question

I have a 2017 LC. I want to install Slee's rear bumper. Slee told me I will have to disable the vehicle's Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) once the rear bumper is installed.

Can anyone with a '16 or '17 Land Cruiser confirm or refute this information?

Also, if the BSM must be disabled with Slee's bumper; will it work with an ARB rear bumper and tire carrier?

Please advise.

Does anybody know about the Dissent Rear bumper?
I’m still weighing my options.

Agreed.
I guess the Slee bumper has cut-outs in the steel then.
Perhaps other bumpers also have such cut-outs?

Rlc rear works with the parking sensors. The sensors seem pretty sensitive to pressure and dropping etc. treat them carefully.

Parking sensors are totally different than BSM. The parking sensors are flush mounted and visible. The BSM sensors are under the bumper skin at the corners, not visible unless you remove the Tupperware.

I’m looking for an alternative or a solution for a GX460 Victory 4x4 rear bumper.
I’ve already purchased and received, but now I realize it does not work with the BSM system.

I’d very much like to retain all stock features.
With how you’ve managed to retain stock features on Dissent rear bumpers, do you think I’d be able to retrofit anything to this bumper to achieve the same?
2023 GX 460 - I’d imagine the blind spot monitoring system is fairly similar, but don’t know for sure.

Same here. Everything works from the factory with the slee rear.

The BSM sensors on my 200 are above the level of the bumper behind the plastic that is retained.

Yeah - I looked into the 200 series and I figured that may be the case.
Can’t find much info on the GX forum.
