Hey guys I have a 1991 LC. It has been hit in the rear and the rear bumper has been deformed. see below.
is the center section able to be replaced ? I was told It cannot be replaced .

another option: would this bumper from a 95-97 LC fit on my car ? see below.

Let me know what ideas you have. I just want to clean up the car a little bit. No need to look perfect. I think my best option would be to just straighten it out cosmetically with some body filler ?

The center section gets clad differently depending on the year, destination, etc. Always underneath things is the rear cross member, which is riveted in. Some of the aftermarket bumpers require that it be cutout, with their product taking up the role of the missing OEM. That's an option, although it won't be cheap.

That section that is deformed is actually part of the frame. It’s the rear crossmember. Not really replaceable. Well, not a bolt on afair. When I cut mine off for a 4xlabs install I gave to a friend who welded up on his rig to fix similar damage.
