Rear bumper beginnings

Rating unknown... the receiver tube, which is rated at 6 or 7k, extends forward of the bumper and will eventually be tied to the spare tire crossmember. I doubt much if any relatively heavy towing will be done with it, I have access to a V8 Tundra for that type of work.

Lift is J springs up front w/ 863 in the rear....Roughly 2.5 - 3".

hey brian, progress looks great. congrats again on the new arrival. i'm amazed you can get work like this done with a job and the new parent lack-o-sleep goin on.

The Cruiser did not move or even get a passing glance for 2 weeks straight after my boy arrived. My wife, knowing that vehicle mods are a big joy/stress eliminator, told me to go work on the Cruiser... she's awesome. We are fortunate in that she's chosen to be full time mommy (no worky worky) and I am self employed at home..... which reminds me, I need to go build a Toyota truck for resale.....

Rubber pads keep things tight... the lower pad can be seen in the first and forth pics. There is some movement, could be a bit tighter, but no creaks or noises exist.
