My rear brakes are not fully releasing. It feels like I'm riding the brakes when I drive it. This is the second time this has happened in about 6 months. The last time, after it had set without being driven for a few days, they released and I had no more issues until today. It's as if they hang up after applying the brakes. Everything in the system except the booster has been replaced within the last year and was working fine. Any ideas? Thanks.

I would pull them apart and check to see if your shoes are getting hung up on anything or if the springs are still good. A sticky wheel cylinder will cause the same issue.

If Im not mistaken I think that is an adjustment issue with regards to the master cyl arm that goes into the booster. Probably to long so its pushing on the master....or something like that. I have been having brake troubles too and I remember reading about this very thing you descripe. Check all your linkage adjustments to FSM specs.

'74 (in you sig line) all around stock drum ??

I wondered about this the first time it happened, but everything was set properly and was working fine before. However now I have very little pedal travel.

Yes. All drums. They were all turned when I replaced all of the wheel cylinders and shoes.

If you have a positive feeling about everything thats been replaced and correct adjustments as stated earlier? I'd check for line restriction and the residual valve for proper operation........
