Rear Brake Anti-Rattle Clip Issue (1 Viewer)

I can not seat the rear INSIDE brake pads. The anti-rattle clips with my NAPA Premium pads just seem ever-so slightly to stout to sit tight, and if they are forced in there is not enough room to fit the pad? The outside clips and pads went in just fine.

Anyone come across this or have any suggestions please.

The anti rattle/pad guide clips are side specific, with one side accepting both and the other only accepting one. I'd check that first.
