Working on building a custom rear end, planning to run a Cruiser center diff but use minitruck rear shafts. I have a few 85-older rear housings to use as doners (and lots of shafts) but am considering setting up the rear end width to allow use of 86-newer rear chromo shafts....
so the question...is length the ONLY difference between the 85-older rear shafts and the 86-newer rear shafts? Same outer bearings, mounting system, etc???
