I'm attempting to gauge interest in the rear axle housing spacers. If one is unfamiliar, these are spacers that mount on the rear axle between the axle housing and bearing. They increase the track width of the rear housing by 3.5", or 1.75" per side. This matches it to the track width of the front Tundra suspension arms. Tundra rear axle shafts are utilized with these. Using wheel spacers is a less expensive method, but the additional stress placed on the wheel bearings may rear its ugly head. Below is a prototype... Right now, price is going to run $450 - $500 for a pair made from billet steel. If we can get the order number up, we can drive the price down.

$450 for the spacers, plus the cost of Tundra axles? are the tundra axles the same other than the length? would other parts need to be purchased as well?

I'm thinking about the extra width in the rear. Some of the aftermarket wheels have an offset pretty close to the difference in axle length.
anyone with aftermarket wheels notice any issues with tire rub or the wheel not stuffing up into the rear fender?

I roll 18x9 with a 20mm offset with 285 70 R18's. It tucks all the way up in but it is tight, real tight! If the tires were any wider it would proly hit the fender, I have about 5mm or less of clearance between the tire and fender when stuffed!

Thank you Ken. Exactly what I was looking for. 1.75" may push the wheels out to far to clear the fenders. I may throw on my old 35mm spacers and see what clearance is available.

factory wheel is 18x8 with a 60 offset
largest i know of is 18x9 0 offset with a 285/65/18 tires flex and no rub.

1.75" is roughly 37.5mm, so this setup would be using factory wheels only, and tires no wider than 285 which will allow a 20mm clearance.

@bjowett

Cool idea, nice solution for running Tundra A arms up front. Do you know of any vendors for CrMo Tundra axles?

I really appreciate your innovative products for 200s. Sad that I don't have one yet to use your goodies. (Almost got one last year, but couldn't find a clean one and ended up with 100, another year two.)
