Which way does the pcv go in? Big end up or big end down. It's been close to 2 years since I took this thing apart and I can't remember.

blow through it the air should be able to come out of the engine block

Ugh that doesn't bode well big end gonna be a bitch getting it intonthe grommet. But the new grommet I got is much more robust than the last one.
Isn't there an arrow stamped on it?

Nope. It does however have something on it that looks like a southern cross.
should be able to hear a ball rattling around if not it's probably gummed up. Carb cleaner should clean it up. Should be able to blow through one way and not the other. That should be the flow direction. Air should flow from the block up around to the air filter.

It's brand new cheap ass china crap. I had get a hammer and roll the lip a bit more inwards to get it into the third gasket. I also learned that a ford gasket from the same help section would work without rolling the lip. Stupid doorman.
